I did some research on the 2 bird nests we found in our yard and found out they are chickadee's. We watched and watched for a couple weeks. We saw the cute little birds going in and out of the nests. Then nothing. It seems and though the cute little birds have abandoned the nests. According to what I read the eggs should have hatched in approximately 2 weeks. It is way past that. Now we just have nests with eggs. How sad no cute little birds will come. Sunday, August 23, 2009
Egg Update

Mother nature is harsh. I'm sorry you didn't get to see the young birds. We have bird houses around our yard and it is fun to see the parents and young ones.
